Hello and welcome to Believing in Benny! My name is Jenna Thurin. I am a mom, a wife, an Elementary Instructional Coach, and now… a blogger. Thank you for joining me on this adventure! My goal for this page is to help people find a space to feel understood, to learn, to wonder, to grow and to build community.

My son Benny is the reason I started to write. He is my youngest of four boys, and he has Angelman Syndrome. He has taught me so many things in life, that I want to be able to share with all of you. In the process, I want to learn and grow from all of you as well. They say, “it takes a village,” so let’s make our own village right here together, starting right now. 🩵
